Having born and brought up in the city of Ayodhya. Mahapandit Ji has been a significant pujari in his early days. He attained his vidya from the peethadhishwar of Ayodhya and later on moved on to take his place as the peethadeeshwar in one of the most eminent temples in Ayodhya.

He is now the head of Delhi Sanskrit Academy and also runs many charitable trust such as Dayadham, to provide food and shelter to needy and Sri Yamuna Sabha, a step towards preserving river Yamuna in Delhi.

He is a yagyacharya(science of yagya) and a renowned astrologer who currently consults people from his home.
